Hello, everyone! I finished these days some work and I'd like to share with you here the result, as well as the story behind. It's a bayonette from WWI on which I added a stone handle. The stone handle is made of three stones having red, yellow and blue colors. These are the colors of the Romanian flag. The whole project is intended to be a tribute to the soldiers in WWI who made possible the "birth"of our nation as it is now, one hundered years ago, at the end of WWI (in 1918). As I wanted to get a bayonette from first world war, I was in a doccumenting visit at our Military Museum, where I pictured some bayonettes from that time. Luckilly, I saw on a wall in the museum a big photo with a high rank officer deccorating some soldiers and I spotted a way to display the bayonette, overlapping it over a cerefully scaled picture, such as the picture and the bayonette itself to match the size. The bayonette I bought after that visit was very simmilar to the ones I saw in the museum. It was not in perfect shape though, not having the wooden scales of the handle at all, but this didn't bother me at all. Well, enough intro. For those of you who would like to find out a bit more about our history at that time, here's a link: The pictures of the creation will be added by Tela, whom I thank very much for her help. Thank you for looking,
