Today I received a box which, besides some gorgeous slabs from Tony Catman, included a very special magazine.
As many of you already know, it's the traveling Rock&Gem magazine (August 2010) when I won the "Craftsman of the Month" with my sword. Yes, it finally came back to me today!
That copy traveled along and across your country and a lot of members wrote me a dedication and an autograph on it. Needless to say how much I cherish now this copy of the magazine. I already started to read the dedications from all of you and it is a pleasure to do it. It's kinda like talking to each of you.
It's impossible to add pictures of all of the dedications, as they are spread all over the magazine. But here it is the page with the article, together with some dedications on the opposite page:
I like the way each of you found a page margin or corner, a free space or even integrated your dedication in some printed title.
Friends, I appreciate and cherish each dedication SO much and I cannot thank all of you enough for joining this action and for the heartfelt words you wrote to me.
I will conclude with a fragment of one dedication which, although is addressed to me, I find it very appropriate to address it back to all of you:
All of you also enriched my life beyond imagination, and this is not only due to the every day enjoyment and unique atmosphere here on the board : if I wouldn't have been found you here, our vacation from two years ago wouldn't had been the vacation of our lifetime (so far) - the Western U.S. tour . And, probably, Karen (karenfh) which is about to come here these days and spend a vacation with us would not had done it neither.
So, thank you very much again everyone for being here and for taking part at that action.
